Hammons Center in Rogers. This year’s event theme was “ Amazing Grace” and hosted nearly 1 ,250 guests who enjoyed lunch and comments from executive director Becky Shaffer and three Saving Grace alumni. Approximately 520 guests attended the event, honoring Barney Hayes, Denny Higgins, Faye Jeffery and Dr. Tom Woodruff. David Matthews served as the emcee for the event, with special messages from RPEF president Gaven Smith, vice president Kelli Gemmell and Dick Trammel. The goal of the Wall of Distinction is to recognize and showcase the accomplishments of Rogers alumni, faculty and community members. The banquet raised over $25,000, which will be dispensed as grants to teachers in Rogers Public Schools. www.rogerspef.com
