Approximately 200 volunteers, patient families and staff participated in helping raise $61 ,535 in donations through the organization’s phone bank. Honda of Fayetteville has served as the presenting sponsor all four years. www.giving.archildrens.org CHOCTOBERFEST Choctoberfest, presented by The Jackson L. Graves Foundation, was held on Oct. 4 at Markham & Fitz Chocolate Company in Bentonville. The event hosted 100 guests and provided a locally sourced German-inspired menu that included soft pretzel wrapped brats by Bentonville Baking Company with artisan sauerkraut from Great Ferments and craft beers from Bike Rack Brew Co., New Province Brewing Co., Premium Brands and Apple Blossom Brew Co. Attendees enjoyed live music from Jeff Kearney and Friends. Hosting 44 players, the golf outing included lunch prepared by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, a round of golf with sponsored hole-in-one awards, and a putting contest. There was also a silent auction with items such as autographed Razorback memorabilia and gift cards from a local orthodontist, area restaurants, automobile dealerships and golf courses.
